Day-wise Itinerary
Detailed itinerary for 9 Days Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, you can rest or explore Thamel, the main trekking and climbing hub of Kathmandu. In the evening, there will be a short briefing about the Mera Peak climbing route, permits, gear checklist, safety plan, domestic flight, and climbing preparation.

After breakfast, we will transfer you to Domestic Terminal at Airport. We will fly to Pokhara. Upon arrival in Pokhara, check in at the hotel and enjoy the relaxing lakeside atmosphere. You may walk around Phewa Lake, explore Lakeside, or prepare your trekking gear for the Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek.

After breakfast in Pokhara, drive to Kande and begin the trek. The trail climbs gradually toward Australian Camp, a beautiful viewpoint with excellent views of the Annapurna range and Machhapuchhre. Continue through small villages, forest trails, and peaceful hill landscapes before reaching Deurali for the overnight stay.

Today the trail leaves Deurali and moves deeper into the quiet forested section of the Mardi Himal route. The path climbs steadily through rhododendron, oak, and bamboo forests, with occasional openings that reveal views of Machhapuchhre and the Annapurna range. As you approach Low Camp, the air becomes cooler and the mountain scenery becomes more dramatic.

After breakfast, continue the trek toward High Camp. The trail gradually climbs through thinning forest and open ridgelines. Along the way, enjoy beautiful views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Mardi Himal, and Machhapuchhre. The route becomes more alpine as you gain elevation, and the final section leads to High Camp, one of the best viewpoints on the trek.

Start early in the morning for the hike toward Mardi Himal Base Camp. The trail follows a high ridgeline with spectacular views of Machhapuchhre, Mardi Himal, Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli. The path can be steep, narrow, rocky, and sometimes slippery depending on weather conditions. After enjoying the views from Mardi Himal Base Camp, return carefully to High Camp and continue down to Badal Danda for the overnight stay.

After breakfast, descend from Badal Danda through forest trails, hillside settlements, and terraced landscapes toward Sidhing. This route is quieter and gives a more local village experience compared with the main trekking trail. From Sidhing, drive back to Pokhara. After arriving in Pokhara, check in at the hotel and enjoy a comfortable evening near Lakeside.

After breakfast, drive from Pokhara back to Kathmandu by tourist bus or private vehicle. The journey follows the Prithvi Highway along river valleys, hills, and roadside towns. The Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek ends with beautiful memories of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, forest trails, high ridges, and peaceful mountain villages.
